Deyan Bararev – Batmobile

It’s hard to explain exactly how you feel after the European short pitch. I can tell you how I
felt after the first session, the screenwriting workshop in Poznan – a very nice mixture of
confused, exhausted, filled with ideas, happy and sad at the same time, maybe a little bit
hungry for more. More time with the tutors and my group, more time with all the participants
I didn’t have time to talk, exchange ideas or just have a beer. When I came back home after
the screenwriting workshop I immediately started writing and kept on doing that until the
Pitching and co-production forum in Luxembourg came around. Then my group and tutor
helped me with coming up with a pitch which we created in less than 24 hours before the
official event. I must confess, I thought that after the end of the Pitching I would be relieved,
but I wasn’t. Again I wanted more. I still do. The European Short Pitch got me hooked, like
the moment you meet that special person and you want to spend your whole time with him,
until he gets sick of you. I want to make you sick of me ESP! Do you hear me? Anyway, I am
really glad to be a part of the amazing experience that offered me so much, I was unprepared
to receive it all.
